Water Mark

This is an example of my own watermark.

The purpose of a water mark is to identify a picture as yours. It can also keep people from trying to copy your picture and take credit for themselves.

DownTown

A photo taken at the Jefferson Theater on the downtown mall. However, the light was not originally blue.

This photo was taken at the Paramount. The chandeliers were in a row down the inclining hallway and i took it and darkend the background to bring out the gold light more.

This is one of my personal favorites. A man was standing outside the Paramount with his dog and he asked if id like to take a picture. Naturally, i agreed.

A second fave of the ceiling of the Paramount Theater. I burnt in the shadows more to bring up the contrast a little bit.

And my third favorite of my friend Kate. the posed at the bar in the Jefferson and i had to highlight her body and the surrounding light.

Warm Colors

For the Warm Colors assignment i had to focus on mosty yellow, orange, and reed colors. This includes candels, leaves, the sun, hands, anything that hold those colors.

Word and Brushes

For this I used several brushes that were letters in a base of a grid. The grid made me think of maps and exploring. Hens the word.

The Word "nightmare" is an actual font and not a collection of brushes. I took several brushes and added all the tentacles, splatters, and smears to the background, as a collection of someones fears.

Spooky Picture

A photo of a friend smiling. I took it and desaturated everything, while painting the background a solid black. Her eyes are still visible but darkened and bloodshot, blood was dragged along he cheek under her eyes. The same blood idea was done to her lower lips. Then I took an overlay of a concrete patter giving her a sort of undead feel.
Above i took a solid black background and added layer upon layer. Each layer had a set of lines on it, which I had drawn. Then i added inner and outer glow, giving the like a faded edge look. After adding color it gave the image of a creepy face.

Horror theme

For this project we got to look through many different themed projects and selected one to do. I chose the horror theme because when I looked over the example the interest clicked and I knew I wanted to do that. It had reminded me of an old game i used to play called "Left 4 Dead" and I actually went home after I started and replayed it. I took a photo of a snowy road at night and layered zombies taken from the game and blended them in, burning the image to make it darker and added the snow. The blood on the road adds to the eerieness of it.

Exploring Photography-camera RAW

Each image was edited in camera, toying with different ideas, such as black and white and saturation differances.

Balance Collages

This collage is balanced, meaning there is no specific point your eye is drawn to. the immages are layed out without any one being more important than the other. this also included immages from things i grew up with. Such as cartoons, movies, toys and photography. all which have been important parts of me.

This coca-cola collage was meant to be a sort of advertisement for a brand. Also included is the radial balance, where the image seems to spread out from one point. In this case, the middle-bottom.

This collage was meant to be weighted to one side. using size and the number of immages on one side where your eye is drawn first. Thiw was the "insperation" collage.. immages of people that inspire me. Ranging from Socrates and Steaven Hawking to Betty White and my friend, Danny.

Collage Review

This collage was a review of all the techniques we learned last year. This included layer masks, blending modes, blur, opacity, quick selection, etc. we had to take at least 10 different images from the selection provided and bring them together in a cohesive ways.
