David Hockney

I took a picture of myself and then filled the backround with blacak why taking a group of layers thet look like a photo and coppied them over me and the backroud of the original picture. After quite a few layers of copieing you get what you see above. And yes i know.. the face is epic.

Photo aging

This was a picture of the flag that i took during my adventures at the downtown mall. I took different layers and added gradients to give the scratchy look that would be given over time. Along with some coffee stains and a few tears in the edges, plus a smudge or two, I gave this picture a very old/used feel to it.

thses are light effects created by taking a curved line and creating an outter glow. Then you duplicate and rotate it ALOT untill u have a circle (or however many you want). then taking a gradiant blur and a distort layers.

Midterm

This is the midterm for our class. We had to select the people from a another picture and move them to the back round of the street, then we did the same thing for the fire hydrant. Add the shadow for the person walking. There was a date at the top of the picture but that had to be cloned out.

shooting assignment: rule of thirds

these are also examples of the rule of thirds. the pictures were all taken at locations in my front yard.  altho the pumpkin is in my nieghbor's yard, they were all taken with me in my yard. taking the immages was rather easy, because the idea of getting the attention draw to the main point of the picture is rather simple.

Rule of thirds

The rule of thirds draws the attention to the thirds of the of the image. Ussually to the object set as the focus of the picture. 1st. it draws the attention to the bird. 2nd. to the people walking. and 3rd. the the bird on the water.

Pop Art

Original
I took a picture of a vase of flowers and made it black and white, then adjusted the threshhold settings enought that you could see it, but left it dark enough too. Then took the "dodge" and "burn" tools to get the details done. lastly I took the painbrush tool and when in the threshholds to put some color into it.
for the "Layering" i took a picture of a mountain sunset off the internet and a picture of an alien planet. Then put the planet over the mountians then used the mask tool to change the look. The planet looks like its right next to the earth and yea...

For the "Crazy Combos" I used the Refine Edge tool.. alot.. I used a dinosuar as the base the added a cat tail, Prezident Bush's face and a teddy bear. Next to it I put A cartoon of "Mr. Freeze". (Ps. This dosent reflect my political views in any way.)
The "Change My Look" project i used the Refine Edge tool and the Quick Selection tool. after moving my body to an outlook over a Crater Lake. Then adding a sumbraro and dancing cat.
